Protein Brownie Bars

Ingredients:

Dry:

  • 1 cup oat flour

  • 1/2 cup protein powder

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet:

  • 1/2 cup almond butter

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup almond milk

Optional:

  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line or grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, mix oat flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix almond butter, applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

  4. Stir in almond milk to the wet mixture.

  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a thick batter forms.

  6. Fold in optional add-ins (chocolate chips, nuts).

  7. Spread batter evenly in the baking dish.

  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

  9. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
